 MAP Testing Starts This Week

Students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade will be taking the NWEA MAP assessments this week. Daily attendance and on-time arrival, along with good sleep routines and healthy breakfasts throughout the week are a few of the ways you can support your child during testing week.

To help reduce stress, we encourage parents to focus on effort and perseverance rather than results. Testing week is a great opportunity to remind your child how proud you are of them - because nothing inspires hard work quite like encouragement from home!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Get ready to make a splash! Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8 and our theme is "Under the Sea!" Let’s celebrate our "o-fish-ally" amazing teachers and staff. A flyer with details of our ocean-themed activities was sent home last week. See the links below to find out how you can be part of the fun!

Open Hearts - Secure Doors Project

Ensuring a safe school environment remains a top priority. We are moving forward with upgrading classroom door handles to allow for quicker, more secure locking in an emergency. Funds from last fall’s fundraiser will cover part of the project, and we invite our parish and school families to help complete the remaining portion.

Donations can be made here, or by scanning the QR code in the parish bulletin.
Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school safe.

Going on a Field Trip K-6 Vocal Concert

Wednesday, May 6th
7:30 PM

Bishop O’ Gorman PAC

Join us for a field trip with students wearing greens, browns, and blues to set our scene out in nature. Do not feel obligated to buy any new clothes! No hats or sweats, please.

Please plan to arrive by 7:15. SKD will be performing before us, so be sure to allow a little extra time for parking.

Students in grades K–2 should meet in the cafeteria to line up, as they will be first on stage. You will need to save them a seat, as they will join their families for the second half of the program.

Students in grades 3–6 should meet their teachers by the staircase just inside the main entrance and will be seated in the balcony for the first half of the program.
