As we continue to review and strengthen our school safety measures, we have identified replacing our door handles as an important and immediate need. A letter will be sent home next week outlining the reasons for this update, along with our proposed plan to purchase new handles and complete the work, potentially as early as this summer.

We are confident in the strength of our St. Michael parish and school families, rooted in faith and committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.

We are grateful to all of the volunteers who have signed up to provide a fun lineup of activities and learning opportunities on Specialty Day. A sheet with all of the breakout sessions will be sent home on Tuesday of next week. Please review it with your 1st-6th grader and send it back by Thursday with desired choices (preschool and kindergarten sessions are predetermined). Specialty Day is Friday, April 17th.

Thank you for your partnership in helping us maintain a safe and efficient parking lot during drop-off and pick-up times. We have removed some of the bars between the cones in front of Door D to improve flow and extend our drop-of area. Please have students exit your vehicle anywhere between this sidewalk area and the flagpole. For safety and efficiency, students should exit the car when the line is stopped rather than waiting to move closer to a specific door.

Preschool students may be walked to a preschool door by an older sibling if they exit later in the line. If there is no sibling available, we ask that preschool parents not use the drop off lane but rather park in the church lot and walk their child to the door.

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping all students safe.

The last day to donate to the St. Vincent De Paul Society is Friday, April 10th. Kindergarten students will be helping collect household and clothing items - all are welcome to donate! 

The Ronald McDonald House pop tab collection will conclude at the end of April. Please send any collected pop tabs to school to help this worthy cause!

All in God's Plan is a program for students and their parents (girls with mothers/female figure and boys with fathers/male figure) in 4th-6th grade that gently introduces puberty, sexuality, and the gift of life in the context of the Church's teaching. This program will be offered at two locations:

St. Katharine Drexel Elementary: Monday, April 13th from 6:00-7:00 pm
St. Lambert Elementary: Tuesday, April 14th from 6:00-7:00 pm
