Rolling Into a Great Start!

Thank you to all our families for your patience and cooperation with morning drop-off during this first week of school! Your efforts are helping keep everyone safe and our mornings running smoothly. To continue improving efficiency and safety, please keep the following in mind:

  • Drop-off begins when teachers are present on the sidewalk.

  • No drop-offs at the exit gate. Students walking against the flow of traffic is unsafe for both children and drivers. The gate by Silverstar Carwash is EXIT ONLY in the morning.

  • Stay in your vehicle when using the drop-off lane. To keep traffic moving, please do not park or exit your car in this lane. If you need to help your child out of the car, please park your vehicle and walk them to the door.

  • Students should exit on the driver’s side of the vehicle for safety.

  • Friday mornings: The parking lot/playground will be open for parking (for Mass). Cars must be moved by 9:30 a.m. If you are staying for a Mass Mingle, please park in the church lot.

  • Cones and barriers are in place to keep everyone safe. Stepping over, under or through them is not allowed. Use the crosswalks!

Thank you for working with us to keep drop-off safe and smooth for everyone!

Volunteer Shout Out!
We would like to thank David Watson, parent volunteer, for all of his help with parking lot - from serving on the playground committee & helping with demolition...to shopping for and providing new playground materials and building a shed to put them in...to moving cones twice a day, he has been a huge part of this transition. Dave deserves your friendliest wave the next time you see him!

St. Michael School School Family Organization (SFO)

Our first SFO meeting will be held on Thursday, September 4th at 5:30 in the library. We welcome all parents to join us in planning upcoming events and learn more about our upcoming school wide fundraiser in October.

There are several opportunities for parents to get involved throughout the year. If interested in being a committee chairperson or co-chair, please use this LINK sign up. Each listed event has a brief description of the chairperson expectations. The school will help volunteer chairs build committees if necessary.

Several of our families provided our staff meals on conference days and throughout Teacher Appreciation Week in May. If your family or business would like to donate a meal this year, sign up HERE.

We are grateful for our volunteers!!
